How the process of creating of bamboo charcoals proceedsYarn with the bamboo charcoals is produced of high quality bamboo grass, which was growing for a period of about 4 years. Then the grass is cut and carbonized in a traditional salt stove in a temperature above 700°C. After 10 days, it becomes good bamboo charcoal with a smooth surface. Material obtained in that way is ground up to 100 nano-meters (a process of nanotechnology). The next stage is mixing bamboo charcoals with other raw material, for example polyester. The processes of grinding-up to nano-powder, and its mixing enable bleaching and colouring bamboo like other fabrics. Because of the process of carbonization in a high temperature, an original and natural colour tint of bamboo colour become coal grey. With light colouring – a grey tint is obvious. The fabric with bamboo charcoals used by SLOGAN has the Oeko-tex certificate and SGS tests.
