Inner layer of the Softshell material, keeping the warm, is lining – usually micro-polar.
Breathable membrane, placed usually between the outer layer and the inner one to enable moving moisture away (wicking). The membrane protect also against the wind.
Each Softshellis characterized by exact parameters, which give information about a quality of used membrane. These parameters are: breath ability (g/m2/24h), and water-proofing (mm H2O).
