Organic Crop Improvement Association

SLOGAN uses vegetable material coming from cultivations controlled by the OCIA. It is an international unit certificating ecological product. One of the highest prestiges. As a non-profit agriculture organization, it gives certificates of quality, thereby ensuring an access into the world-wide ecological market. The OCIA attends thousands of ecological farms, inspects manufacturing processes in more than 20 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and both Americas. It runs research-educative activities on a large scale.

The National Organic Program

An American mark admitted within the frames of The National Organic Program (NOP), which develops, initiates and supervises a production, a trade, and a labelling of ecological food and plants, and also licenses representatives (not only in USA), who certificate a production corresponding with standards of the American agriculture department (USDA).

IFOAM - International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements

IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements)
The IFOAM is a world-wide organization for the organic movement, in which a full membership is entitled to producers, manufacturers, tradesmen and science-research institutions forming and spreading its ideas. These units have various programs and make for themselves various particular tasks, but all are united in one idea: an economically and socially stable system of cultivating plants limiting environmental pollution and waste of non-renewable resources of the nature.

The notion of “organic”, in this context, is derived not only from ways of plant cultivatung, but also from methods of management, in which a farm is treated as an organic unit, where all its elements should co-operate harmoniously.

Main aims of the Federation:

exchange of experiences and cooperation between member group,
spreading the ecological (organic) agriculture, a representation of the movement on the governmental level, local organisation,, opinion-forming centres, and so on,
working-out and a permanent verification of criteria of producing, processing, and trade of “bio” food (Technical committee)

Moreover the IFOAM initiates and co-ordinates research projects (Science committee) and an activity of sections for the Third World affairs (AGRECOL). Every two years the IFOAM organizes the International Scientific Conference.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100

A leading mark confirming safeness of textile products. Clothes, or as a matter of fact – material having this certificate of quality is free of harmful substances in concentration having negative effects on a someone's health condition (pesticides, chlorophenol, formaldehyde, allergic colouring substances, forbidden azo colouring substance, and extractable heavy metals). Clothes made of materials having that certificate mean a guarantee of your safety.
